Do you have trouble sleeping, feel restless, anxious, lonely and find yourself more unhappy than embracing life?

"Writing for well-being" offers creative expressive writing that supports you in making small changes in your everyday life.

Dive into colourful sensations hidden in your mind, uncover the beauty in words that can heal and let them flow freely. You will receive practical writing impulses to find calmness in your mind and get the opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings in a respectful group environment.

You don't need to be an expert in grammar nor have a massive vocabulary. Emotions can be expressed through any words and even drawings. We use writing as a supportive method to unfold your inner passion, well-being and have some fun together.

Location: Gallery event room at Droitwich library.

Group size: 4-8 people.

Dates: 17:30 - 19:30 on Mo 31. Oct., 07. Nov., 14. Nov., 21. Nov. 2022

Price: £60 per person for the whole program which runs over one month.

Writing for well-being - Saturday workshops

The idea of using writing within a therapy setting has its origins in trauma therapy and it has stretched out to many more areas of mental well-being in the past decades. Bringing your troubling thoughts as well as positive emotions down to paper can be a helpful tool in coping with stress.

These sessions invite you to explore your own stress level, understand depression and anxiety, re-discover your energy and create new resilience through your own words.

The workshops can be booked individually or together.

Location: Gallery event room at Droitwich library.

Group size: 4-8 people.

Dates:

  • Stress and Resilience: Saturday 12. November 2022 14:30 - 19:30
  • Depression and Anxiety: Saturday 19. November 14:30 - 19:30

Price: £40 per person for one Saturday. £70 for two Saturdays
