Life is all about waves, good times and bad times are in a constant spiral. We can't always fight the bad times but we can include some good moments while we are in them.
One of my stay sane sentences is and has been in times of difficulty to remind myself of exactly that: "life is all about waves that come and go". Often fighting the bad times does not help us (oh, haven't I tried...), it may even make us angry that we can't break down that brick wall in front of us. We can't make it go away with force but what I believe is that we can create more good moments to restore some balance in our life.
If you try to accept that life is shifting between good and bad, the next good wave may come your way. Be in charge of your thoughts, redirect your focus, away from the negative thoughts but towards the positive experiences in your life. What makes you happy? What do you enjoy? Create these moments, be mindful of you and your surroundings. You know what to do :)
